At the Wildlife Ecology Lab, we work to advance the science and practice of conserving Africa’s ecosystems and species.
Our passion is to create a world where people understand, value and conserve Africa’s unique biodiversity. Our research tackles many basic and applied research questions related to conservation ecology and management of wildlife as well as the effect of humans on African ecosystems.
The lab’s strength lies in its postgraduate student members whose enthusiasm and love for Africa’s wildlife makes it successful and a force to be reckoned with. Very much like our mascot, the African honey badger.
